The customer is responsible for hiring an electrician of their choice and ensuring that power is connected to the chosen elevator location. We are more than happy to communicate with your electrician. Your electrical contractor should provide a subpanel with a recommendation of four to six free spaces, but we require three. The additional spaces are for future additions, such as lighting at the top or bottom of the elevator, charging capabilities for boats or outdoor kitchen accessories. The supply for the subpanel should include a main disconnect and two circuits: a 60-amp circuit for the tram and a 40-amp circuit for the chairlift.
While a property survey is not mandatory, if one has been conducted and is readily available it simplifies our tasks.
We require that any trees larger than 8 inches be cleared along the Elevator route. The route will be clearly marked, and it’s the owner’s responsibility to clear a path. Additionally, the customer must contact MISSDIGG (+1 248 370 6400) to ensure that our installers do not hit any underground utilities.
