Marine Innovations stands out with its use of 2-inch galvanized SS30 or SS40 pipe for the footing system. This high-alloy steel is the industry standard and ensures exceptional durability. The pipe is typically driven a minimum of 7 to 10 feet deep using a hydraulic drive, unlike many companies that opt for powder-coated thin-wall tubing and hand-dig or auger it a few feet into the ground. Powder-coated pipe is prone to rust from the inside out, regardless of tube caps.
The hillside rail system is meticulously crafted from 2”x3” galvanized 11-gauge enclosed tubing.
